Bigger is better isnt that what they say Russ. Well that is what my girlfriend keeps telling me. I dont know why

I think my brakes are ok but dont have full confidence in them. I am running DBA5000 front discs & Ferodo DS2500 pads, Brembo LCF600+ fluid. Standard rear discs and pads. I just think I could be getting on the brakes a bit deeper if I had more confidence in them pulling up the car better. Also after the last McRae sprint every run my fronts were glowing big time although I must say I didnt feel any problems with them during the runs.

Need to find the funds first and maybe it is just all in my head anyway, perhaps it wont make much difference over what I have already ???

I wouldn't worry about callipers. Switch to a more aggressive pad up front, consider a master cylinder brace (if you haven't already), braided brake lines and good quality brake fluid (which you have done).

If you are getting brake fad still and/or boiling your fluid, then look at callipers. :-)

Above all done, maybe better pads would help?? Not getting fade just looking for more stopping efficiency.

Maybe in a couple years Steve when the child support payments stop Until then have to do what I can with a limited budget. I know the WRX is never going to be super competitive without the big bucks spent but I think what I have done so far is a fairly good base for a road/track car and goes ok for what it is. Just trying to squeeze all I can out of it with what I already have or can get with the money I have. Just like all of us I suppose.

Getting über aggressive pads will help efficiency.

Just means you run track pads with track tyres.
