Default can i boost my vf34 more

hey guys i was going through my shed today and found my old boost Tee i was wondering if it was safe to boost my wrx any more its currently got all supporting mods 565's fuelpump pw tmic, 3inch turbo back and a vf34 turbo with a tune running 17 psi on the stock ebc. I was wondering if i boosted it to around 20 with the boost Tee would it need to be retuned at all? i know i need to keep the ebc power connected for the ecu.

Yes it would need a re-tune.

Hey Tony what's the purpose of a boost controller if you need to re-tune each time? Or are boost controllers just unsafe and unreliable?

More air, same or less fuel, doesn't sound like a good combination.
Would want to run it on a dyno just to make sure that AFRs are safe.

Nothing wrong with them just have to be set up proper and tuned to suite I have been running a Profecb 2 controller for years now and holds boost till foot gets off the loud pedal
