They have a push bike & motor bike tyre factory in China.

I'm sure they make them at several different factories, most of them have "Engineed in Germany" embossed somewhere.

Yes they were fitted to some models with 19" wheels not all.

Even the factory BMW runflats on the E90's back in '05 when I was at AutoClassic were Continental SSR's.

Yes you are right on e90 with steel wheels.

The majority of bmw have bridgestone runflats. Some odd models also had pirellis like the x3, but all in all this is not their mainstream tyre. Also as i said before we have numerous issues with contientals and would often change them out before they were worn out.

This is our experience with these tyres
