It was very pretty when I got it. I'd suggest that it looks a little worse for wear now mate.

Function over form. People, like magpies, are attracted to shiny blingy things.(I may be biased as I've had Butler exhausts on both my rexes)

^^ I wouldn't buy anything else, but I'm pretty biased as well. I found the best way to get hold of him is to actually drive over to his garage and just walk in and ask him to book it in. Then drive in the day it's due to be done and make sure he has remembered (he usually hasn't) then arrange another time..

So is this bias based on any objective evidence that his product is so much better than the competition??

Has anyone actually done a dyno comparison or other testing?

Is the delayed waste gate theory actually provable? Is there any evidence that his dump pipe design improves performance over a open bell mouth or invidia style splitter?

I'm not bagging it out at all,...as this is the system I will most likely use...if it will fit without too much fabricating.....

But it seems there is this mythical status...and I'm curious to what it's actually based on?

Custom hand made mandrel bent s/s exhausts with just the right back pressure, no drone but a beautiful note on WOT is what you can expect with a Butler exhaust and yes it will have splitter in the dump mouth

FYI for a long long time the options for buying a dump pipe off the shelf were very limited in WA...it seems that Troy and PSR came up with a good option for AUDM WRX's and I applaud him for doing it. I bought a Butler TBE on reputation and the exhaust note.

Dont buy an X-farce whatever you do.

I put a Butler on my car, nice system. I just didn't want a cannon. Nice stainless muffler tucked away. Perfect fit.

Is it a high flow cat in these systems??
