Also tomorrow I will be swapping my heads: ej257 avcs serviced about 8000kms ago.. With cosworth 278 cams / valve springs done about 40,000kms

for

V5 STi heads with Cosworth 272 cams / valve springs been in car for 2000kms from brand new

Obviously both sets will be getting a good check over,

is this a fair swap??

because my car is my00 model without avcs. And it cost too much to get avcs set up in it. Therefore I can swap heads and bolt the new motor straight in.

have been told by several reputable workshops that this is the way to go.
