In the greater scheme of things, weight reduction for a street car is very minimal at the end of the day want it to be comfortable.
Biggest savings, rip out the front seats and replace them with fixed buckets. Replace battery with dry cell type. Removed rear seats and seat belts. Remove trims and power windows. Remove air con Change out driveshafts for carbon replacements All that will make a fairly massive difference. Remember if you fit a carbon bonnet you'll be asking for a yellow sticker and check the insurance implications.

Probably a bit pricey .. guy in Rexnet showed this off.
Full kit is lighter than a single STI OEM rotor.

You lose even more weight running carbon brakes because you lose a kidney, lung and half your liver to pay for them .

NEVER track a Subaru with less than 1/2 a tank of juice - they will fuel surge badly due to the Saddle tank design.

Biggest issue with this is the Wrx fuel surge before I had a surge tank in my car I would get fuel surge when tank was under 1/2 under hard cornering.

Depends how far you want to go and how serious you are.
You can get a lithium ion battery such as those made by super b. they are just over a kilo but cost just under $1k. I have heard stories of people belt sanding the roof and the floor to make them a bit thinner. Also if you pull you door rubbers off you will see that the two bits of metal dont quite line up. You can cut that back to just below the spot welds. Go to plastic windows. Cut the insides out of the doors and make it so the windows dont go up or down. Carbon door trims. Drill holes in the rio that holds up the front bumper. Get rid of air con, heater, fan box etc. Trim the wiring loom of superflous wires. Lots of other places to trim weight from. Brendon

We all know the theory and what can generally be done but before I start has anyone done any of this for street and/or track and have their been any measurable improvements or noticeable feel?
