possibly but they are seriously worn now, like the slots have worn out weird, some slots half gone(like flat surface) 1 slot completely smoothed out(can't even see it), and one slot still full....I reckon this rotor is fkd.

Well if swapping rotors doesn't fix then pads go out!

edit: I'll take a pic when doing the swap tonight

If your brakes fail completely aim for the nearest tree.

In the last 17 days of street use you've worn out the disks????

As Burke said that they are more than likely glazed again from being run too cold constantly.

FINALLY!!! FOUND THE CAUSE OF THIS @$!^#*=7€ ISSUE!!!

They installed the wrong type of shim!
See pictures with new shim on and old shim vs new shim side by side, huge size difference.
Now Im really pissed off, this work was done by a reputable workshop (you should know who, its in the first post) and due to this fuck up, since January, I've ended up with two fucked rotors plus the resulting expenses! They'll be hearing from me.
The new proper shims were bought direct from Pmu Australia in QLD.
The old shims are Pmu too but for the wrong pad type by the workshop...
Time to go get a refund and some towards my expenses.

As long as the pistons are pushing on the shim then there is nothing wrong with them!
They probably re-used the OEM shims when the pads were changed - that too isn't a problem either.

p.s single straight slotted disks are by nature noisy & the reason why you see non-symetric slot patterns (like your new rotors and like mine)

I run these:

Yes Rossco, agreed...although noise when not touching brakes isn't normal!
It was most likely due to oversized (larger/thicker) shims rubbing and also causing pads to contact rotors. - I'll leave this for Pmu to answer/confirm before assuming this for sure.

Im not bagging the shop, as they are usually very good with the work they do, although I'm very disappointed by this... might have been result of wrong info from their supplier too or the workshop's fault, this we will never know.

The fact is that it is still the wrong part and have every right to ask for a refund of some sort, be it cost of new shims or rotor(if Pmu confirms that this would have caused it).

And its still a very disappointing fact that we trust and pay reputable professional workshops to do this kind of work so that it is done right, but ends up in mistakes like these which that end up causing so much grief while costing you money...its not right.

Finally resolved this annoying constant squeak issue and Im happy about this part.
