Off boost the PCV valve pulls a vacuum on the breathers - via the inlet manifold.

On the topic of the the draft 42 cans. Has anyone actually used them. They are a strong contender on my list but i cannot find any dimensions and im unsure about the placement of the inlet being so low down the can (less usable volume? ). Anyone able to help me out?

Only person i have seen use them was JME in his old 06 s204. Dont know how good it was though.

If you plan on doing rally type events i think the catch can has to have the same capacity as the engine i think? Look up the cams regs.

Yeh ok.

Next question. When doing to PCV line i noticed that coming out of the pcv where 2 lines. One comes out of the pcv and goes to the intake and the other line comes out of the pcv and goes to the manifold underneath the throttle body. Can the second line be removed plugging both ends at the same time and what is it purpose?

yeah it would be good to know...we only plugged the PCV line that goes to my air intake into my catch can when we installed my can.
The other PCV line goes somewhere underneath the intake manifold, seemed like it would be a pretty big job to get to where it goes so we thought to leave it as is.

This link shows you how to delete your pcv if you wish to, decent pics and write up, lot of farting around though.

Just block both end of the second hose. Gd's pcv is on engine block, like tony's, while my model is on manifold. Just to clarify. The nipple use 16mm cap to block btw

using the Perth-WRX mobile app
