Almost there. She is alive and running. So far I have about 60kms on it with gentle running. The ID1000's are making my fuel economy look great. Haven't seen 7.2 for city driving for ages.

I suspect that I have a vacuum line wrong somewhere as my boost is showing as -5 on idle rather that my usual -19. Idle is also a little lumpy. I will take some logs once the ecu starts learning and see what they say.

Very happy to have it all bolted up at long last.

The clutch is pretty smooth and easy to drive. Other than the sudden grab at the end it engages smoothly. The light weight flywheel is also easy to drive.

I haven't hit positive boost as yet but I can already hear a very high pitched whine. Hopefully it is the turbo and not a vacuum leak! ;-).

Low vacume, high pitched whine, and ruff idle.......... Sounds like a vacume leak to me

I have heard that a vacuum leak would usually give a faster idle rather than a slower one. But open to ideas.

My guess is that I have the PCV valve plumbed wrongly perhaps.

The whine is more likely turbo as it is throttle dependent when I start coming up towards positive pressure or higher load. Plus it sounds like a turbo whistle.

Can someone identify this plug for me? I am almost certain that the temp sensor in the water crossover pipe is already connected.

Cheers

The knock sensor is plugged in. The coolant temp is also plugged in.

I am not getting any codes.

Could it be either TGV or air pump related as these were deleted?

Engine is running and no codes anywhere, which makes me think it is TGV. I had tuner switch off alarms for TGV and air pump.
