Default Ringland anyone?

Also found and ordered an avcs oil supply line. Mamba make them and only cost $90. Very happy. Gets rid of the potential failure of the oil hard line across the head and leading up to the turbo.

If you don't have the o rings for these I got mine from Trans seals in Welshpool. They are Viton ones so cope with all fuels and the heat.

Thanks Daz. These came with them. The bottom ones that are an unusual shape look to fit well. The top ones will need a slight stretch to sit comfortably in the recess.

I have a slight hope that I may have worked out how to implement a flex fuel setup on my car with an alcohol content signal fed to the ECU via the TGV input. Will have to wait and see. Looking to get some plug and pay wires made up so I can also switch over to speed density once the engine is run in.

Got a few parts today. Really quite impressed with the look and build of the AVO inlet. There is no way that I would want to fit this 3 inch version without having the manifold off.

Has anyone ever tried these?

Quality looks as good as NGK etc. full stainless body with iridium tip. Not sure where they are made so just seeking experiences?

It's probably complete BS but I was always told to avoid Iridium tipped plugs. Apparently there's a good few instances of the tips coming off and in some cases losing a valve because of it.

I've no idea if there is any weight to that school of thought but I've always avoided them.

I ran Iridium's in my old gtr. Best thing I did was bin them. Way too hard trying to gap them without damaging them. Ran better on cheap ngk's. Not to mention iridium's cost a small fortune.

Interesting. Are platinum plugs standard? I have read some stories about people not liking Bosch plugs too.

Turbo is in Perth. Whoo hoo. Had to pay import duties and gst. Dohh.

Avcs oil line fittings are wrong sizes so Mamba has shipped the correct ones straight out. Impressed with his service overall. Very responsive and helpful.

Std is irinium on GRs, I had irinium one step colder for almost 40000km now never had an issue.
