and whats wrong the the ol VN, she went hard for a shit banga six and the old 5ltrs were where the phat skid dreams were made......ohhhh yeah lovin that roof lining dropping on your head while cruisin down the freeway, only to get home and staple it to the roof again.

From observations made over the last few years, unless i am a few cans short of a six pack and missing my eyes, i reckon its been a fairly simular style that Ford and Holden have been producing. Seems one goes a little spastic with their design, so the other follows and visa versa.

To compare the VN with the VE is utter crap, and I can speak from experience as I have had Commodores from VL to VE, my missus has the Lumina which we bought last month.

The VE is a far superior drive, we drove it to Albany last month and it was a pleasure to dive, I can tell you our VN was not (When we had it)...

So many experts.......lol......

I think the whole VN VE comparrison was just a bit of an exagerration on TJ's behalf, dont think he actually MENT it in regards to a proper comparrison.

My dad picked up an omega today. He was looking at the ss or whatever but it didnt work out that way for whatever reasons.

Not a bad lil bus. Drives ok and far better than my mrs old VN (now she has a VZ and its better than that!) He reckons its the second best holden hes owned in the past 23 years. First was his 1974ish torrie. Bombed apparently (well for an older car!)
