Haha, in the middle of watching that NBA Dream Team doco, good viewing!

Is the eagle eye trek a loop or do you have to drop a car off at the finish?

15km loop. I was going guns blazing until the last 2.5km.. absolutely broke me. Couple of hard climbs and descents.. mountain goat spec. It is recommended you walk it clockwise, we did it anti.. didnt change alot, the start would of been painful, the ending alot easier.. instead we eased into it and got nailed at the end. Still, the guide says allow at least 4 hours and we did it in 3.45 so made good time...

Good to have someone along to push you too.

Eagle’s View Walk | TopTrailsWA

5-6 hours.. geez if I can do it in under 4 with an average knee should be ok for most.

Whoops at moderate fitness and experience...

You would not do it in the wet.. way too many places to slip and fall.

However, highly recommend it as a challenge.

I remember doing this one in my early scouting days

Not a bad walk that one!

My favorite hike so far is a section of the Bibbulman track down near Dwellingyup, through a couple of the bigger mountains in the Darling Range, Mt Cooke, Mt Vincent, Mt Cuthbert... decent weekend trip. Had to get a few practice hikes locally in first before we were ready for the longer trek.

I've been meaning to get back into hiking etc for years, as I've still got most of my gear and maps kicking around the house. Maybe a p-diddy hike is in order?

Time to end my extra-weight once and for all. Going to go for broke on a 12 week fitness and nutrition program. Got myself a gym partner now to assist me / keep me accountable. Starting to get into the habit of pre-preparing all my meals. Will take photos each week to see how we go.

LETS DO THIS!

I found having a gym partner was the best motivation to keep me on track, someone to pull you in line when you slack off.

I watch a shit load of bodybuilding videos, arnie in pumping iron, motivational videos etc.

When I started I weighed 64kg, 6'1" and I was a twig. Could bench 40-50kg with bad form etc.

Roughly 8 months on and I am 76kg, can bench 80 comfortably and even stacked 90 the other day.
Still a bit lanky but i can safely say I have a more muscular figure.

End goal is to be a muscular 85-90kg, then I will focus on maintaining fitness at that size.

Love healthy living and fitness, makes me feel a lot better about myself and achieving my goals and setting new PBs gives me the feeling I can achieve anything...
