have you considered C Class merc..?
I have to say that I have been very critical about merc's quality for last few years but current modal has changed my opinion. You can feel amount of RnD hours put in the development, as soon as you take the car around for a spin.

what about the new FG G6E Turbo?? reasonably luxurious and will shit on the saabs/mercs/audis in that price bracket..
