Rockingham mum hooned with kids in car
3rd July 2008, 6:30 WST

A Rockingham mother has been charged under anti-hoon laws after she was allegedly caught drag racing with her four young children in the car.

A police spokesman said the woman was allegedly racing her Commodore against a Holden V8 utility along Dixon Road about 6pm last night, at speeds up to 130kmh.

After stopping the car, police discovered four children aged between five and 16.

Both vehicles were seized under anti-hoon legislation and the drivers will face court on traffic related charges.
