to bump my old thread...

i just went to load a DVD and have now found out that the computer isn't detecting the IDE drives.

I haven't used my home computer in a while so havent noticed it.

Would this have something to do with me taking out one of the Hard Drives?

the drives are getting power to them as the DVD drive will eject the tray.

What could this be? IDE cable crapped itself?
Something changed in BIOS settings?
