Built with Celebration homes. Not one drama, they fixed whatever I wanted within a week. Great PR would build with them again without hesitation.

558sqm block with just over 300sqm of living space.

Im only worried that I need to put a slab down before end of Sept so I can get the full grant.

Meeting our drafty this w/e, and by the time final plans are drawn its gonna be 4-5 weeks. Then another 6 weeks at the council until I get a license.

You cant sell the house for 6/7 years but i plan to live in it for 10+ anyway.

Hmm i think that u might only have to have the plans and plan to build within a certain time frame to get the grant. But check with the gov..

Where abouts is the land?? near ur folks??

exposed aggregate its great, dont do pavers. you will get weeds and over the years they will dip and drop etc, and normal grey concrete looks boring and liquid limestone isn't the best, this stuff is the best of the best.

Ill give you the number of my friend who did it he will help you out when your ready if you like. Look around at display homes a lot of houses are getting it now
comes in various different colours as well.

and the rocks looks quite nice.

Cheers I'll remember that... yeah definitely wasn't going with pavers for that reason... and grey concrete is boring so was looking at the "concrete with rocks in it" lol so now that I have the proper name for it people may understand me better .

you can have a double crushed limestone base to pavers and that is better for weeds and stuff but yes exposed aggregate concrete is pretty good stuff.

very nice house NVRENUF , it was one of my favorite models at in-vogue and after working there i would recommend them and prolly use them if i was going to build a 2 story.

I've built three houses and am building my 4th, all different building companies and had different levels of problems with all of them. However just remember you don't hand over that final payment until you have checked the house over thoroughly and are 100% happy with them. So to a degree you have them by the balls.

Yes, basically true, but not quite that black & white...there is the term "practical completion" which most builders use in their contracts...this term may be open to a degree of "interpretation".
