Yeah update in iTunes.

Then run blackra1n.

Don't do this if you rely on a carrier unlock though (ultrasn0w).

You could lose hacked apps / cydia stuff if you don't back them up properly prior. But all in all, that takes about 10 minutes to re-load.

but whats good/different about this jailbreak?

is it worth upgrading from DevTeam Jailbreak.

DEV team at the moment only jailbreaks up to 3.0.1 for Windows users, and 3.1 for MAC users. I would presume they are similar. both use Cydia.

Does someone have a custom firmware of 3.1.2 for the 3GS i could have? please

ok so ive just upgraded to 3.1.2 (pwnaged). im getting no reception/signal. any ideas?

Turn it to flight mode then back off again. I've had that happen a few times after being out bush where there's no signal & when I get back into town it hasn't picked it up again.
