Interesting to see it's a 3 door cos I heard they had decided to only bring in the 5 doors.

Seriously interested in one but just don't think I can bring myself to stump up the change over cost when the Subi is so dam good.

Driven newer gti and they are sweet to drive! the interior quality leaves subaru for dead too! so In awd, I dont think the sti would beat this car in many areas?

Theyre expecting sub STi driveaway prices, atleast thats the talk. We'll see what happens after they're done generating interest. As an all round package I dont think the STi stands a chance, aftermarket Subaru still has a good following but wait till APR start releasing stuff and they will soon, itll be all out war.

Just read on Rexnet that there have been a couple of R's spotted in Sydney also, maybe they are going to be released sooner rather than later.

Remember they will have a few demo's for the launch to sucker a few signatures on the dotted line well before any are actually available for delivery.

So I gather this thread is the start of perth-golf.com?
I know if I was in the market I would get one these over any current Subaru.
Only issue I have with GTi is it's conservative looks. R fits the bill nicely.
