+ 3 for the Forester. My wife drives an MY09 XT, alot more room than the previous earlier models. We have 3 kids and a Labrador. Obviously the XT gives you a bit of get up and go., but even the non turbo is a great car

If your gonna go a subaru, definately go the forester, XT's are really nice to drive, tribeca is absoloute crap, and outback is still new, so i think a few problems may arise.

Ive got 2 kids a big stroller and the 06 Forester aint big enuff. Can't comment on newer model. Pajero is roomy but what about a Territory?

I hear ya. I have an MY04 XS Foz for my wife + 2. Pram takes up the entire boot. With a capsule in the back the front seat is a fair way forward. Fuel consumption is around the same as my rex. In saying that though I do love the Foz for what it is.
