Been feeling depressed last week or so since my contract at work didn't get extended due to budget cuts and no work in sight until the end of June when I have been booked in for a temp contract. Then on my last day today get a call for a job interview for next Friday, an hour later get another call by the Head of Department for the same place offering me a temp contract to start next week. Now no longer have to live off my savings over the next 2 months and have the possibility of a long term contract after almost 2 years of short term and temp contracts within the hospital system so much win

Congratulations. I know what it's like to be left contractless. As a teacher who hasn't got permanency yet I have to re apply for my job at the end of every year.

Thanks, the news got even better got another call this afternoon for another interview next week
