Nice score!

I remember being in Year 12 (1996) and we had a reasonably well off Indonesian student who had one of these as his first car. He now races somewhere in Asia.

Good stuff - I will have sweet memories of Mr Jones antilagging cops in Freo in his, along with telling everyone it was stock before blowing them away

yeah, back in the mid 90's a mate of mine had 2 brothers, one bought a brand new gsr lancer, the other a brand new wrx, i was a v8 nut at the time in my VK SS, only took one drive of the gsr & a ride in the wrx & i was hooked

always had a soft spot for the lancers, never thought i'd buy one, i still can't believe my mrs hasn't hit the roof yet, wrx will be for sale soon though

Yep a proton is pretty much a recycled lancer. I was gonna tell you the other day I saw a evo 3 bumper and bonnet, unfortunately they were attached to a proton jumbuck near work.
