rossco, for later on, if you actually want pic of your RC's to put on your banner, talk to kel. she does alot of commercial pics for companies now and may be something for you to look at rather than say outlines of RC's?

Cheers, In my other life I shot product images for Hobbyking. The images are meant to be generic - it's impossible to cover 150 brands in 5 vector graphics.

Not a fan Ross.
Did you buy SIK out? What 3d planes do you have? Keen to buy a bit of stuff soon including radios if you can do decent prices!

I think the vectors are fine, however that typeface and colour choice...
Did the same person who did the vectors do the typography as well?

The Idea is for it to appear as an 'old fashioned' hobby shop, hence the white background and using vectors rather than hi res images. What colour combination are you thinking?

Colours/tones that match what you have in the vectors. Blues and grays. The font is far too kiddy and curvy. Any curves in the font should be tighter and more straight lines and/or angles in the text. Most hobbies are of a precise nature so you want a font that is rigid.... bold(ish)... strong. Something that reflects the precise nature of hobbies and suggests quality.
Check out dafont.com, under basic click "sans serif", type your store name into the preview bar, click submit and enjoy perusing 1000's of free fonts at your disposal. Personally I would probably go all capital letters but that is reasonably font dependent however. Just a suggestion

Why call it my hobby shop? Surely something better than that could be thought up?
