Playing a real-life game of petrol roulette...and winning I really wanted to break the magical 600 mark but the next petrol station was just a tad too far away...and up a hill too haha
p.s- no nanna driving whatsoever but half of this was highway driving

^I did that the other day and lost Luckily was parked at my brothers house and not driving around, think it was because I parked on a slope, but ended with me having to buy a jerry can

Out of curiosity did it splutter/cough at all? I did about 80-90kms after the fuel light came on so was expecting some unhappy noises but nothing of the sort Think I will stay away from tempting fate for a while now though...

I was about to leave so turned the car on to warm it up, idling away, after 2mins it spluttered once and shut off.

I have heard that it's not good for your fuel filter to run dry like that. Sucks up muck from the bottom of the tank and gets hot etc.

Not sure how true it is but makes some sense.
