It's was all beach where we were fairly deep nasty rips though and big waves. Pity I wasn't driving the subi should have had fun driving the roads there , but wouldn't have made it to the camp site as it's 4x4 access

I don't see the issue. They were taking it off the street and on private property.

The report says vacant which doesn't necessarily mean it was private.
If it is private property then theoretically they can't do anything about it.
