Anyone know a mobile repair person that can fix some of those windscreen stone chips? hopefully they can sort out their shit with the insurer as i have unlimited glass cover with no access

When mine got done, i wish they just replaced the whole damn windscreen. 2 right in front of the drivers side at head height, and the stuff they use doesnt really mask it. Damn annoying!

Windscreen stone chip repair- get it done quick, technique is less effective if the damage is left for a few days.

Called RAC a month ago to get 3 chips filled, some instant windscreens cowboy/butcher replaced the whole thing anyway. 1 month later, got an epic crack that needed replacing (unrelated). RAC said its standard practice for 3 chips + to result in a new one.

I had instant windscreens out the same day (RAC Claim) I did my Golf's windscreen two weeks ago. Thought that was pretty good since it was rain sensing.

The dude who did it seemed to know his shit.
