Lol, same thing happened to me. Workshop put some new parts on for me, stuck it on the dyno, then told me to buy a new engine. Thanks for coming.

Didn't bother arguing as the car is 13 years old.

I ask because I've had mine tuned 'lets say', within the last 7months and I wasn't required to sign anything.

Its a pretty big assumption to make based on potential cost involved with repairs.
