Default PPSR question, can someone check this please?

buying this car, can someone who knows what they are looking at regarding REVS/PPSR checks, cast their eye over this and tell me what they think?

just want to make sure theres nothing to worry about here. Its under finance thru esanda & i'm going to pay out most of the loan & the owner the rest.

greatly appreciated

Quite simple. Have the cheque for agreed price made out to Esanda using the loan number as a reference and they will give old mate the difference, which will almost gaurantee you clear title. I wouldn't do it the way you've described unless your financier is doing it. Too much risk.

As for the rest of it, it's all pretty standard. Buying a PPRS which has a disclaimer saying there is no gaurantee the car isn't stolen is a WOFTAM....

you'll need to get him to call esanda & get a payout figure for the day he is going to settle it with your cheque, then get a cheque cut for that amount to them & the rest to the owner

yeah, thats if he owes less than the 16.7k im giving esanda. if he owes 20k on it i would need him to get the balance owing down to the agreed price (16.7k)

hes going to email me a payout statement tomorrow, so will see what the go is.

just wanted to check there was nothing else to worry about in the report.
thanks for the reply phizzle

ok, im paying cash basically (no finance red'd)

i guess it all depends on if he owes more than what im paying esanda or less.

the thing that makes this a little harder i think, is that the 'owner' has moved over east & his dad is handling the sale.

so first thing i need to work out is how he can give esanda authority to give me the payout figure directly, if thats possible?

day of settlement is tomorrow.
