4 dives over the extended weekend, night dive on Friday at the grain terminal, boy in the boat on Sunday morning (got smashed as the swell was a bugger) and double bubble with Western Blue on Monday. First time with Western Blue and well chuffed with them, actually that chuffed already booked in for another double bubble :-)

Might do the rocky wreck trail this Thursday night just to get wet :-)

Default Name to a face

On the dive boat today and heard the skipper mention Rossco was diving and he likes taking pictures. H'mm I thought to myself, I'd better check the car park on our return.

Good to meet you today mate

Nice work Ross!

Forgive my possibly stupid question here, but what is the contents of the second cannister?
Air reserve?

The yellow tank? That diver is using a rebreather, so chances are it's bailout gas, so if he floods the loop of the rebreather rendering it useless, he still has an air supply to return to the surface.

Either that or a decompression gas mixture, which is higher in O2 than air to reduce the time needed to return to the surface, but it doesn't have any visible depth markings, so might not be.
