Are they not lock nuts? The only reason I say is because I put some on mine and then ended up with a small mess on the flange. Not an issue in my application but I think you might have issues with it.

nah, your eyes are decieving you

they're a propper exhaust locking nut, look simular to nylocks, but there is 3-4 tabs id spose youd say that hold onto the thread of the stud, usually called cap nuts...

I thought the ones you are talking about are the NAS or similar that are single use etc that DBA use on the 5000 rotors and hats. If I am wrong I am wrong but it will be the first time!

trouble is the photo's just don't do it any justice seeing in the flesh is believing!

fingers crossed its back @ the workshop and hopefully gets started before the weekend. if it sounds half as good as it looks
