12l/100!!!!! highly doubt it sorry, auto or manual? Best figures iv'e seen for a 4.8 is around the 16l/100 mark. Recently took my 08 auto for a run to esperence and only got 19l/100.... And thats standard height without a roof rack etc sitting on 110-115.

Its a manual....has exhaust and extractors and a walbro fuel pump. Has a tracklander full roof rack too. Im using the app "Fuel Use" off the android market to track it all as I read some right horror stories on patrol4x4 of the thirst of the 4.8. Getting a similar device to the scangauge shortly though to give me more accurate results but even from my calculations around town im returning 14l/100.

P.S The 12l/100 was recorded heading to my parents place in Mandurah sitting on cruise at 95kmh no more.

I would redo the maths dude.
An '05 Patrol 4.8 petrol is quoted as 17.7/100km as standard and then you have exhaust, extractors and a bigger fuel pump, sounds way to good to be true I'm afraid.

Yeah I know what you mean, have put x country intercooler and bigger exhaust with manual boost controller on it to keep it cooler and hope it doesn't blow
