Rumours suggest King Springs and Whitelines are made in the same factory, just branded differently. I know of heaps of people who have run king springs in their WRX's with out too much hassle. The time may come one day when you have to replace the shockies...

But considering it costs nearly $700 to buy springs, get them fitted, get an alignment etc, its worth the extra $400-$500 and get the HSD's from Joe. They have had great reviews.

What sort of driving do you do? If just street, then Kings will be fine. Once upon a time no-one had coilovers in their rex's.

I've had whiteline's on my car for around 150,000/200,000 and they've always be fine for the street, and I tend to give the old girl a hard time every now and then. Just don't leave them in forever, they sag, you get guard rubbing and your shockies lose their shock absorption ability. All comes down to budget.

I've got kings in since I bought the car. Havent had any issues with taking it to the skidpans and collie and the car handles fine with only a H-brace fitted. True if you're wanting to be more motorsport orientated its better off saving and spending accordingly but cant see anything wrong thus far with them for street and some track.
