Larger upgrade from what?

Presuming your current turbo is a stock td-04?

Just because you can bolt it on, doesnt mean it will work better than the existing one.
Suggest any turbo change should be followed by a retune.

Bolt on, as in u don't want to change manifolds?

I'm in the same boat, but will get a hi volume fuel pump, ecu upgrade and maybe bigger injectors to suit. I would like a ball-bearing turbo for faster spooling but don't know what model to go for.

This info would help u (and me)

Kando TD05 series is worth a look mate, as they offer decent value. Second hand VF20something second hand should be an upgrade too.

^Yep That's almost the exact one I'm looking at.

Need fuel pump first, your stock injectors should be ok but upgrade if you feel the need, no harm can come from upgrading them.

Will need a tune. ~ $1600 give or take a few hundred for an EcuTeck tune at MMS or another tuner around Perth.

All up ~ $2500 give or take a bit.

Not bad at all.

Upgraded intercooler and exhaust? Bugeye owners should also look into removing the stock up-pipe and replacing it with a CAT-less model before considering these types of upgrades.
