alrightyyy

firstly id like to thank steve and the MMS boys for an outstanding job, the fabrication of the new cooler piping and intake is absolutely amazing. ill get some pics up asap, not keen on polar spec phone photos

heres the graph vvvvvvvvvvvvvv

i was really hoping to crack the 300hp atw mark and we got there fairly comfortably. The car was on the dyno for less than an hour this arvo steve played with the afrs a bit wound the boost up to 19psi first run came out at 230kwatw bit more fiddling and second run produced the graph above

232.4 kwatw (311 hp) and 359 n.m.

For the money its a massive increase in power and its a little less laggy than before.

future plans:
aluminium radiator and silicone hose kit
powder coat the 16s i have get some good rubber on there and track it as much as i can

Awesome stuff Chad, must be stoked the tune got put forward.

Was going to come down tomorrow and have a look whilst it was on
the dyno.

Hey with the graph the dyno day figure on there it says 197.4 how come
you didn't use the one with 199 on it as a comparison to the new tune

yeah mate very happy with the results

not sure why the comparison was for the run that did 197. On dyno day my first run was the best with 198.4 (i think) last run may have been the 197.4 which steve saved. Either way the difference is very noticeable and when it was on the dyno the MMS had pretty surprised looks on their faces, as did i

update:

got some photos of the engine bay, backyard spec with dig camera

should have gotten the manifold painted while it was off ah well, vast improvement on the previous cooler piping. Going to have to do some fine cleaning before motorvation!

few more photos messing around while i was taking the enginebay shots

and a reflection shot too keep with current trendzzzz

also time slip from the drags, bring on low 12s on the 28th!

Im also on the look out for some 02 STi rims, have some gold 16s which i was going to put on but ive decided that for potential brake upgrades in the future i might as well allow for it now with a larger wheel.

Open for suggestions on brakes, Brembos? AP racing? or the prodrive alcon brakes jester and joe have..they are sex

hopefully begin aquiring a few parts for summer, aluminium radiator, radiator hose kit, oil cooler as well as some GFB gear, pulley kit and short shifter.

plenty to save for...
