I want to just take it easy, and learn on the easier stuff, before i think of tackling anything too hairy..

Bought all my stereo gear the other day, so it should be installed in a few weeks once i move and come back from overseas. I am so sick of driving around without some background noise/music.
Ive been out there a few times and allwasy managed to break something. nothing big mind you. Bent my bull bar a tad smashed up a side step. Theres two bits that mainly get you. this time of year they are washed out and have deep rutts. Yours will go awsome there. There's another bit where you have to climb a a 10mt lenght of rocks sometimes the big ones are unavoidable becasue of the accerleration you have to use.

You are right though, becasue of your ground clearance you'll piss over almost everything there.

No worries Jez. We'll have to head out on the tracks once you are sorted.

Bit of an update... seeing as tho I haven't updated this in ages.

Have had heaps of fun over the spring and summer heading away to Jurien most long weekends, as well has hitting Two Rocks and Alkimos 4wding on the weekends here and there.

In the 1 yr 2 months I have owned the vehicle mods I have done include:

Chrome Nudge Bar
Hella Rally 1000 Spotlights
Stereo install (including sub behind the rear seat)
Installed 2 x 12v Power sockets in the rear tray for my fridges
Fitted a K&N Air Filter for increased flow
6000k HID Hi/Lo Beams

Also last weekend I removed the lug nuts that hold the canvas tonneau cover and replaced them with some plastic grommets, which i painted the same colour as the car. They are still noticable obviously, but until I get them filled, it will have to do!

And today, I picked up a flexiglass canopy for my car, thanks to Corrie (cheers again mate)

So I thought I would upload a new picture of the canopy for now.. and maybe some other ones of the car, pre-canopy..

Older pics...

excuse the iPhone quality

How do canopy's hold up when four wheeling? Being fibre and all, in terms of flex? Just curious really.

well I assume the tray, being separate from the body would move as one, and it's only fixed to the tray, so shouldn't be an issue I'd imagine...
