Nice. I am planning on similar next year for dirtbike and towing but looking at 2 door extra cab version in any colour except white. A few nice examples around.

Be interesting to see how your mods go for future reference.

yeah I think a snorkel will sort out the intake... cleaner air way up there too... diesels always run better with them.

cheers for the comments fellas!

Aside from collecting somewhat cooler air from higher off the hot road (not that with tyres like that and the lift kit it'd be any good on road), does the snorkle achieve anything? Aside from looking like forwards facing exhaust stack?
You know it doesn't mean you can drive in any deeper water than with the standard intake yeah?

Yes, fit a snorkle, but rather than going to the airbox, run it into the tray. That way, when you have you cover on the tray, it is pressurized, and it keeps the dust out when off road... Which is where vehicles like this are designed to be. They're not nicknamed roll-ux's for nothing.

Nice purchase Kybmo, looking forward to some weekends away. Shame the sti had to go if you ever get the uncontrollable urge to thrash a wrx again, you know where to find me.
