Haha don't worry!

Warranty is only voided if the part you have changed is responsible for the failure. I.e. if you put really low springs on and it stuffs a shock up, you might strugle to get that fixed under warranty. If you put lowered springs on and the engine goes, that's fine.

Just keep it simple if you want to retain warranty (sways, springs) and if you go for a tune and exhaust, get it done at a reputable workshop.

So you are telling me I COULD get a TBE, CAI and tune and I could still retain my warranty?
provided I don't go stupid with boost and advanced timing right...?
But I think I will go with what has been said and suspension work and learn how to drive, plus learn how to drive a manual again :\ manual licence and driving autos for 10 years totally sucks

if so please PM with reputable workshops!

Well just a bit of an update, nothing has changed lol
The car was OCDetailed by Adz, looked smick as, but was too busy to get some decent photos, then it rained and now the car is looking dirty as will give her a wash tomorrow at work if I get some time.

Took the car to MMS to get a service and for them to check it out, as I was a bit iffy with the gearbox and asked about the squeaky clutch pedal, apparently its a feature of the cars. Anyone else have a squeaky clutch pedal? 08+ WRX? I will give it a spray with some silicone =\

picking up a 50/50 BOV tomorrow for the ricer in me for the fully sik pssshhhhh ppppssssshhhh noise! also perth wrx stickers and will debadge the car (Thanks for the inspiration Kym, was going to do it but didn't have the heart)

Going to get a quote for TBE and Tune with K&N Panel filter. Been told CAI are pretty pointless by other people besides the haters on here. So maybe don't need CAI setup. Don't know any other brands for a replacement Panel filter but. Hurry up Tax return

Apexi dry panel filters seem to be the go.

Be careful with the BOV, as they can mess with fuel economy.

Yeah have heard that. Will keep an eye on it. It's just for novelty. Can be switched to full plumb back so I figured it's a good.

Well a bit of an update.
Couple of changes have happened to the car.

Cosmetically I have added a CF STI Rear spoiler, which to me has made a huge improvement, I love it, the haters might hate but F Yas. Also some delightful person decided to Key my car, so I have to thank them for the new paint job.... wankers.

Went and visited Norm few weeks back and had a chat to him about his exhausts. Firstly I will have to say, what a funny prick! top bloke he had just recently fitted up a TBE to the exact same model as mine except it was the grey colour not black like mine. I asked if I could hear it, he gave the bloke a ring and explained the situation. Norm asks me if I have 20 mins. Sure why not, waited around and got to hear the exhaust for myself. Sold.

Exhaust went on today and as Norm would put it, "I can't help stop knobbing myself over it". Drove her home nice and gentle but had to do the mandatory tunnel cruise. fuck it sounds awesome haha. Car goes to ASG on monday for some tuning love and then I get to give her some until I put it into the panel beaters next week.

So as it stands.
CF STi Spoiler
COB BOV, Butler Built TBE, Cosworth Dry Panel Filter and Verso Tune @ ASG
Next will be Suspension work when I get some dosh

Good work. Please post up dyno results and the graph if possible once it's done.

Craig, will post up graph tomorrow. Dynoed and end result was 254 hp at the hubs, forgot the torque but. Car sitting at work now, get to drive her tomorrow. Might research some forged pistons and how to strengthen a bit. Would like more power.
