Mitch is more than welcome to borrow this equipment if needed.

Bob @ WW once tightened up the coilovers I had to the OEM strut tops by using the weight of the car to prevent the piston from moving, then rattled it down.
Never had an issue with them after the fact.

I tried that too, it didn't work so I ended getting the bespoke sockets made up.

With my forearms typically.

I'm sure between my arms, his good looks, my tools, spektres garage, copious amounts of beers, boobs and good times we will get them sorted :-)

Ok... I've managed to arrange fitting and alignment for tomorrow thanks to a referral from a customer of mine. Now, the question is.. what sort of ride height and camber angles should I be looking at. I'm thinking of running 2.5 degrees front, 2.0 degrees rear.. but not 100% on ride height settings.

What is the ride height of the stock STI?
Personally I wouldn't want to go lower than 125mm to 130mm, mainly for driveways and not wanting to eat my bumper for lunch.

As for the alignment, -2.5 and -1.5 front/rear works quite nicely on my car, could go for something more aggressive if you really want to destroy corners...

Yeh what Soksta said. My skirts are at 14-15cm and I still scrape on a LOT of businesses driveways.

Personally mine has 1.5 and 1 and the inner wear was reasonably fast. I also wouldn't go any lower than 130mm which fully loaded car would probably drop it to 115-110.

Also remember the springs will settle and be lower than when 1st set up.

130mm sounds about right.

I run -3 front, -1.5 rear, but mine isnt a daily driver.
