I will charge up the go pro batteries and get my still camera battery charged, so let me know a date & we can hit the road, or should I say sand. Maybe get Tom Jr in the action too?
Sweet, just let me know a day that's good for you, I'm free any time and got plenty of recovery gear lol, I'll ask Tommo when you let me know.

You seen this from years ago? I can get over the dunes now instead of just along the side of them lol wish it had the same grunt.

Yeah all the boost set up is rooted, no restrictor pill, maybe bring it, It had/has a manual boost controller but the spring and ball was missing, it's got a boost gauge and one of those fancy ECUDatascans but I never use it lol, max boost is around 9psi and it's running a RA STI computer so it should be better, best time to go is weekday especially after rain, just like a roller-coaster hmmmm, I took Tommo there about six months ago and we got some great video...............of his fucking shoe, he pressed the wrong button & it would have been brilliant too. That's why I want someone who knows what they are doing, he's as useless as me.

I think the 3" into a standard muffler is really killing it too..............Monday is quieter and usually flatter and Sunday is better for posing, Prob Mon but I'll leave it up to you.

Monday it is then old man. We will have to leave at 11 though as I have something on in the morning. If you prefer to leave early we can do it on Tuesday I guess.

If you want on Sunday we can get the exhaust on? Maybe meet at Neils for a drink or something?

11 is fine with me But Tues is good too, possibly meet at Neils on Sun and suck up to him to fit the muffler, I'm actually heading over there right now to convert my 4kg fire ext into an air resivour to save carrying the air compressor.

New short block ready to go.

Standard stroke closed deck 2.0 ltr, with STI rods, CP pistons, oil phased crank & ACL race bearings. We have put the Killer B sump, oil pick up & windage tray on this engine for now, until I finish off building the 2.35 stroker. Ported oil pump, new water pump, gates timing belt to go on, all held together with ARP case bolts.

We will be converting this to top feed injectors, with Aeromotive fuel rails, bolted to a version 8 inlet manifold and aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. I have not quite decided to use my old STI pink 550's decapped, or just put the 2000cc Injector Dynamic's in. I will be running on E85 eventually so I would say a good chance the ID's will be going in, I am just not too sure how the Power FC will like it at idle. The duty cycle will be around 0.6% at idle, by my quick calculations. No harm in trying them though.

Just need to finish the heads off, which will include opening up the ports a little more, especially on the exhaust side. Slightly larger lift & longer duration than Spec C cams are going in. A set of headers are going on, as too will be a version 8 STI inlet manifold. Just need to work out the IACV and throttle body connections, but I am pretty sure Neil & Paul have this sorted.

Hopefully this will get completed in the next 2 weeks & get it in the car & run in, by the time I have to go back to work. If not though its no big deal, plenty of time & no point in rushing these things.

I also have a few other things to get done, hopefully in the next 2 weeks I am home which are.

Get one of Mao's "flash as Michael Jackson" STD twin plate clutches.
Complete a parallel fuel rail mod with braided lines.
Get my tail shaft shortened.
Fit the Process West anti surge tank with dual Bosch 044's.
Whiteline 27mm rear sway bar with HD links.
Whiteline 24mm front sway bar with HD links.
Whiteline HD rear mounts.
GDB STI front alloy lower control arms, with Whiteline Roll Centre Correction kit.
Whiteline Anti Lift Kit.
Defi water and oil pressure gauges to go in.
Try to tidy some of the wiring up a little in the car, its starting to get a bit messy.
Seals made for the injectors (the ones on the ID's are too small for the Aeromotive rails - not sure why....)
Wire up the DCCDPro controller.
Fit the DCCD six speed & short shifter.
Remove rear LSD from my diff, fit the 3.9 gears and put it in the new housing.
Grab a couple of rear drive shafts as spares.
Put a safe run in tune in the Power FC.
Take Paul, Neil, Geoff & Matt for brekky for the run in of the motor.
Buy a pallet of Beer for Paul, Neil, Matt & Geoff for all their help and assistance in me getting this car so far so quickly. Thanks guys

I would also like to give a huge thanks to Mao & Warick from Evolution R, you guys are never anything more than very, very helpful & have always done the right thing by me. I really do appreciate your help and knowledge base you have. Looking forward to getting this Whiteline gear in before the No Limit event.

Massive thanks also to Matt from Auto Pro Canning Vale, cheers for all the parts matey I really appreciate it.

This is going to be an absolute weapon Simon/Daz.

Get some proper r comps for it and that will finish the beast off fully.

Proper R comps will come Dave, I need to get some wider wheels / pump the guards or get some flares. I am hoping to get some 255's under each guard if I can. I may get another new set of of the DZ03G dunlops though, as they really seemed to help my times at Jacks Hill.

I still need to learn how to drive too This car has not stayed the same for longer than 2 weeks I dont think, its always been having something done to it since I bought it. Time to slow down now, I need to get used to the car how it is, get my driving skills up & enjoy it for what it is.
