That's not bad, how do you go when it's a rear facer?

Sooooo...

Not much has happened in regards to the original plan - surge tank etc (that's still sitting in the shed)

Just returned from 6 weeks in the states so the car was supposed to be put on the back burner...

But;

Volk Racing CE28N's (Jack's old wheels) have been fitted (I will get some better pictures this weekend)

18 x 9 +42

With 245, 40, 18 RE003's

Surprisingly not as wide as I had anticipated, this is due to the guard rolling in the past to try accommodate the XXR's

I will be pulling 1 degree of camber out when it goes in for the alignment next break and possibly dropping the arse another 10mm. This will give me flush fitment and with the 245 rubber a rather tough appearance I hope.

Before I left, a genuine V8 STI Wing came up for sale in Albany.

A deal was made and it was driven up by a mate for a carton of beer

Into paint and it was cleaned up, few dents and chips filled and painted to match;

The 03 STI rear end conversion - bumper and tail-lights will also be happening when I can find a set of them.

Interior wise, added the GFB Short Shifter, that has made the gearbox feel a bit tighter although it needs new bushings (waiting to be installed)

Bought a set of Amber Defi's off Jayden on Antilag to match my new cluster and HVAC color.

Had to hard-wire all of the gauges to the control box as the plugs were cactus.

Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure and Boost. They currently sit in the ATI triple pod which I will get a pic of today as well. Sorry about the shit pic below;

Otherwise, I have an X-Force cannon which will be fitted when I earn some money to do so :P

It will have the tip extended and I may paint it black for a stealth look..

After the exhaust goes on, the car will be going into ASG for a retune to suit.

That's about all for now until I get some decent pics of the interior and wheels as neither has been done justice.

Stoked with the wheels and they weigh 2/3 bugger all

Stay Tuned!

Love the wheels, I almost bought them off Jack... Then when Oli posted them up I almost bought them again. Looks great against the white.

Did you get around to sorting out the heat shielding yet?
