Awesome surge setup. Did I miss the update for the retune with the bigger STI intercooler?

I ended up selling it. Spoke to Nic and Sean and they advised the gains would be negligible if I were to fit it and modify the IC shroud etc.

Will get a re-tune done with the new Fuel setup. Also replaced the CAI pod filter as that was aged, as well as the PSR Short Fat Bit.

May be able to squeeze a bit more torque and power out of the car.

Taylor's peanut with an almost identical shopping list is making 360HP @ hubs on the standard GD STI cooler.
Dan [GTI] likes this.

Fair enough, I guess without going FMIC there isn't really a intercooler that will give you a huge benefit over the STI item (unless you want to try water-to-air, but that ain't cheap).

E85 really makes things interesting with these engines, can't complain about the fuel Economy when you can make 350hp.

I'd recognise my old setup anywhere. Yes you can use my picture

For reference it worked very very well.

This should hopefully eliminate my fuel surge issues with the e85 swap and shit GD fuel tank design.

Thoughts?

Yeah front mount is the only real way to get more out of the current setup. Not sure what I can push the motor to without opening it up.

Haha yeah the power is great, economy when using the loud pedal I can't complain with the way the cat drives.

More the heat soak that I was trying to reduce. As well as the Spec R cooler is a pretty decent size upgrade.

2.5L. Will use the Walbro 450L as the lift pump and my friend has recommended a Holley inline unit.

That's his setup on his 450 HP SR20 KE70 Corolla

Yeah he said the same. Can't remember what kit is bolt on without chopping up my bumper

Haha I just googled a generic WRX Surge tank boot setup.

Didn't realise the source was your thread haha.

But I like the size and the setup, so will be going with something very similar.
