Yeah probably a good idea. Yes outside most of the week I am home. Car sits in the garage for a week when I am at work. Why's that AD?

Think it might be to do with the e85 sitting in the tank not moving at certain temperatures, and the effects that has?? Cold starts maybe.

Keen to see results on your upgrades I want to go down that route, but the convenience and practicality of e85 just isn't there for me at the moment.

Mmm I did have a bit of read after hearing that e85 doesn't like to sit still for long periods of time....

Me too Rich, hoping to crack 300 on 98 and go from there.

I only do maybe 300kms a week when I am home so e85 (when I can find a vipec will be the plan)

Picked up the car from ASG today,

Pretty pleased with the result...smidge under 300 @ the hubs and same torque with everything fitted up.

This was at 19 PSI.

Main problem was that my AFM was maxing out and throwing a check engine light so Sean had to decrease the boost and set the gain to the Maximum 5 Volts if that sounds right.

To solve said problem and the pretty decent amount of lag from the 8cm hotside I am in the process of trying to secure a Vipec and then e85 is the plan ASAP.

Car is pretty fun to drive past 4,600 RPM, the top end is insane in comparison to the VF35 that used to drop off previously.

Overall I am very pleased, I knew there would be lag, but I also planned on having the car on e85, so this will balance out when all said and done.

I hope to have a fairly quick streetable car and something that I can track if I am ever home to make a track day :P

Sounds like when I went from the TD04 to an AVO450 (TD06 20G). Lost a little bottom end power / response... But when the boost hit it was all forgotten!

The upside is it was easy to drive off boost and save fuel

3.5k new for vipec fitted and tuned is a fair bit of coin.

Rather wait a little while and save 2k :P

It will happen, few other priorities like Europe need $$

Don't fret

Update...

E85 Bitches...Antilag, Rotational Idle and Launch control active (for all the rallying and track work I do..)

New Graph;

Very pleased with the results....just the low end torque is brilliant for daily duties
