Don't get your point with regards to these rates causing it...explain

edit: Might be wrong but I was pretty sure the Teins you're running are these rates

Well when one stiffens the front of the car compared to the rear it reduces oversteer and increases understeer. Now I have no idea how your car currently handles but it is a wrx/Sti and they inherently understeer from factory so stiffening the front compared to the rear will likely end in even worse understeer.

But I'm no expert, more intelligent members feel free to chime in.

I had 6kg front and 8kg rear spring rates with 22mm sway bars front and 24mm rear and was pretty neutral in the corners unless I drove like a twat ( which I do )

Go speak to John Fowler or someone at Wilkinsons I think it's called and they'll sort you out for good rubber and suspension setup.

Are you sure you had 6kg front and 8kg rear? I thought the front is stiffer as the springs need to support more weight(front engine) and also support braking...else would cause an uncontrollable about of oversteer.
I may be wrong but really thought that was how it is...will ask the shop or fitter anyway....

Like I said I'm no expert and could be entirely wrong. Internet mechanics will not help you, John or Wilkinsons most certainly will

Since I have chimed in.

If you have all this work done get out and abuse the car and find out what is/isn't happening and maybe tune it from there.

There's no point spending uber dollars on shit if you don't actually need it.

Hit up no limits nights, rac days, skid pans, collie days and anything you can get into.

Seat Time will more than make up the difference in times/enjoyment over a sub rear frame ball locking diff cradling device.

If you want proof check out the rallysprint results :-) compare Jamie listers time to most other wrx's and see where his awesomely balanced version 6 is placed compared to the others.

^Couldn't agree more to this...
These devices are definitely out of the picture as said many posts up following on DC/Rossco's comments.

Haven't launched into handling mods just for the sake of it, mods coming with time and what I need to address before even thinking of trying sprint series etc
Ok lets start from scratch. Racing is about finding you and your machines limit. Unfortunatly their is only one way to find this limit. And trust me, it hurts. You dont want to find this limit when your car is modded up beyond your skill and understanding. Next minute your doing twice the speed you are capable of controlling, something goes wrong and its game over. Racing is about respecting your machine and learning its limits, the above setiment makes you look arrogant and that will bite you in the ass. Start slow, find the limit, progress. Dont take this the wrong way, just dont want to see you wrapped around a tree.
