There are no ECU options for MY08+
Link has still not yet been able to create anything that will work with CANBUS vehicles. Well, there's MOTEC I guess. At what, 5-6k I heard? That's a fair bit more than turbo, injectors and dyno time.

No, people bagged the tune because it was shaped like a steep pyramid instead of a plateau.

Oh yes there is.

Subaru 2008-2014 – Inc Hatchback – Syvecs

This is THE best ECU for the Impreza on the market anywhere. I cannot understand why it's not used here. It's better than the Motec and unlike Motec's extra cost options everything is included.

My car WILL have one of these at some point. If I could find someone to tune them in WA I'd become a dealer myself as the results people are getting using these in the UK speak for themselves. RCM's new car, Andy Forrest's 7 second Monster and I believe the AMS GTR uses one too. You can't argue with that sort of pedigree

the new Haltech elite series 1500 and 2500 both support full canbus and Syvecs and Hydra and AEM and yes there is some one in WA that will tune them. Oh and Motec if you like pissing money against a wall. and what DAZ said 1000%

Just purchasing an elite 1500 for a build Im doing with all options 4 thermo couples flexfuel , oil pressure, wideband and all the temp sensors . Comes in at just over 3400 , + Tune 880 , 1300cc injectors cost me $650 new

new turbo for your 08 1000 - 2500 then fitting , Injectors $550- 700 , tune dont know what ecuteck or equivalent cost never done it so say 900-1500 so yeah it is a touch more to do flex option but gets you much safer results and a better base to start from for future mods. But see your point Trolley especially if you are on a budget.

Might be an Idea if one of the Mods could make a Flex tune section and add it to ECUs or the Mechanical section of the forum as well.

Sorry, I should have implicitly said "with local support" (though now amtrapid says there is, which is [good] news to me).

amtrapid - thanks for that. Do you mind pm'ing me the person/shop you know that can work with a Haltech. Might start doing some research and reading
