Pack mentality rears its ugly head. The owners of this forum tread some dangerous grounds with comments and attitudes of some users.
I need to find a unicorn so that we can all support each other and our passion for Subi's. |

I've nearly had enough cans...
I do agree Sean & the boys do good work, as does rob, Dean & crew, as does race torque, but as soon as Mao is mentioned all these junior know it all tards chime in with the world is ending!! Rj, that's 2.. Darren's was re-built 3 times & was still shagged.. Get off your rickety pedestal... Your just putting yours back in no? Don't care enough to read, but was it tuned or was it Subarus fault? Send em a letter!!!! Gordon's mods were at his request and was fully aware of the expected lifespan of his engine.. As was beau when he pumped 300+ into mine before ring-landing it & I bought it.. Running an engine to the edge is always a matter of when.. No different - There's rally drivers who have rolled and those that haven't.. Yet.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We support all Kremer...we support all don't get this wrong...when shit fucks up at any other workshop we call it out too...but no other workshop bites into the bait and goes charging/mouthing others so it ends there and then

Yeah I'll happily say mine was tuned by Sean and popped a head gasket after 2 years of going at it at 260awhp... bottom end and heads were in perfect working order, I could have just repaired head gasket but decided on build. No pedestal mate.

I just feel that if you had an engine pop, and even if you made some suspect decisions along the way...that the last thing you need is to have the forum bag you out. His wallet will already be inflicting enough hurt.

Regarding legal threats or engines that have failed?
Just curious as the comments were all over the shop for a little bit. What ever happened to Iceken? Edit: I'm not accusing Mao of anything, I just remember there being a transaction of sorts between the two.

Its the nature of the beast , You want to play you pay.
Thats why I build my own shit when something does fail I find it easier to look in the mirror and say you fucking twat . There are so many variables but if someone chooses to roll the dice with a stock set up they 99% of the time know the risks . The same goes for handing over folding stuff to a builder or tuner The difference is you expect to get what you pay for. All shops and experiences have good and bad sides. Its your choice to learn from this and prosper you can improve your position , or keep beating your head against the wall and having the Subaru money troll rape your wallet . Oh and is he good at his raping. |

Gordens car had failed long ago.
There is a long list of reasons as to the failure of the 2.5 ltr that have been covered before. We should not point the finger at any one for this. |

Reading all the bullshit that goes on here and those who are living in excitement until they experience more $$$ thrown at their cars with disappointment in the end.
It's all that excitement that builds up...waving $$$ because you want it bad -Getting a new turbo...can't wait to get it installed and tuned -Oh fuck yes.. I'm loving this car! I'm rather impressed with this power level and my engine is in good hands Before you know it you've got a fucking time bomb one after another and really get to see the true colours from those who "built" your engine. It's hardly heard of a ej engine to have a tensioner fail during a running in period limited to 4k rpm with less than 100kms after a second build! It happened to me. The only way these days is to build your own engine and pick up on your own mistakes as stated by many on here. I would not trust any workshop in Perth again to have a crack at building me an ej. Rectifying obvious problems failed in the long run which were rectified by an amateur in a normal home garage with more sense than so called reputation. Many people get big headed until it strikes and than regret the fact they didn't listen. When they wake up but realise it's too late. |
