The cam sensors where to far from the camwheels to correctly read the teeth (they were aftermarket vernier gears). They had to chuck a oscope on to determine that it was loosing signal ober 5000rpm.
Sensors were moved closer and it resolved the issue

So. Thought i would update this a bit.

I have just recently got a Dom 3 XTR to replace the 1.5 xtr that is currently on the car.
The Dom 3 is a 55lb/min turbo.
I have had to remove the PW TMIC and install a front mount as the dom 3 will be pushing the tmic.

Also have a Perrin oil seperator kit to install. Just waiting a few weeks for Lane to get back from an event and new turbo should be installed and tuned.

The car will remain on BP98 as armadale still havnt pulled there finger out of their arse with their E85 tank.

Expecting ~400whp.

Love the stealthy intercooler install though. From the outside the car still remains stock looking.

If you had to go fmic to package a dom3 in place, then it kinda defeats the purpose of even staying stock location turbo. The only real difference now between your setup and a twisted gtx30r is your setup has a 3" straw on the front of the turbo that chokes flow compared a twisted setup which has 4" massive inlet. 3" to 4" diameter might not sound like much, but airflow doest care about diameter, it cares about area. And a 4" pipe is getting close to DOUBLE the area of a 3" pipe. Especially a bent arse kinked up pipe thatsbeen shoe horned under a subaru manifold.
