Tony.....Naughty boy:
1. Sleeves should be down to your wrists mate
2. Shouldn't pass cars through the esses or on corners
100% agree but would like to know whether they were told this prior to going out.

Never been to an event where this was ok.

Yeh wasnt sure about the passing business, this was later on in the night after watching multiple cars do it. The majority of the cars over powered me on the straights but where alot slower through the corners (thanks to the sticky tyres) which was super frustrating. This is why i much prefer the events where gaps are left between each car.

Will take it on board for next time Steve

Five street cars coming into that corner within a second or two of each other is never gonna end well. Looks to me like the goon driver held it flat too long while trying to buzz tower.

Not being nasty Tony, but either you weren't listening at the driver's briefing or the driver's briefing was garbage. Too many cars too close together in most of your footage.

Yeah it's always frustrating when they pull away in the straights...we always tell people to keep an eye on their mirrors and let cars past if they're monstering them in the corners! Passing on the esses and corners is risky cos the driver in front is invariably looking through the corner and won't see you until you pull past. Patience is a safer way I reckon...yeah gaps are the way to go. Who was running the night Tony? What was the Ford that hit the wall?

Incredibly I think that the WASCC themselves allow multiple cars without gaps at their track events...always risky IMO...

Not to disagree with the safety rule, but I have a memory from years ago spectating at Brands Hatch UK.
In a very neat maneouver, a Jag passed a Mini on the inside of a tight corner.
We argued for ages after if it was superb driving by the Jag or if performance of the Mini was over-rated.

It was a ford gt nauli Ive seen the footage from inside too. its an auto. held to hard through the corner, it kicked up a gear and started to slide instantly. didn't back off and it continued to oversteer.

"Ford GT" could refer to a number of different cars....
