Default Autronic and Fuel Eco

Hey All,

question for the people who own a autronic pnp, how many kms do you get to a tank on average if you DO NOT use antilag/rotational?

cause before i put the autronic in i use to get 400-450 to a tank on a verso tune @ 1.6 bar, now with the autronic tuned to 1.4 bar im getting UNDER 300 to a tank!?!? is this normal?

Thanks

I've never used the anti-lag, but the number of kms depends on how hard you drive it - mine is tuned for 1.55bar and i get "around" 350kms per tank. Do you do a lot of freeway/highway driving?

Tune dependent. The more time you spend on it the more accurate your cruise will become, thus giving you some decent economy.

See Josh...

As i was saying today to you mate, something doesn't add up. (Not gonna mention your tuner/workshop, <due to flame wars and O/T posts>, but more time on the map, or new tuner may be the best go...?)

Or.... you could buy a MoTeC....

Don't sell it, you'll have it sorted soon. Otherwise you'd be kicking yourself later. Good luck bro. < 300k's (even with YOUR driving) is no where near enough.

Brent.

I used to get sub 200 when I originally got my motec powered dakker. Ended up at almost 400 if I wasnt on it 24/7

All in the tune.

^^^^ Ditto.

Is it making more power with Autronic. No reason why it should but generally more power will need more fuel.

Factory cruise maps will be pretty spot on with the factory ECU/verso. Your map in the autronic may not be so good in this area. Takes time to get it right. Most people are just interested in paying the $/dyno time getting the power side right. I know thats all I chase.

I get 350 per tank with my MoTeC M800.

60% start-stop driving (the morning yokine -> city trek, and back) 40% spirited driving. I reckon it works out pretty well!
