my old bugeye setup- sm4, ej25 avcs (2 litre cams), vf28, 5 speed (much better overdrive ratio than 6 speed), 190kw/390nm/1.5 bar used to get 600km to tanks as a daily with about 30% hard driving.

my current car- sm4, ej25 avcs ('06 spec c cams), hks 2835, 6 speed, 240kw/502nm,
1.3bar 300-350 km, not a daily driver.

Here come the workshop wars... Oh, and good luck J. I hope it stays in, and you keep it. And enjoy antilag and (semi) economy till the worlds oil supply dries up...

And come on... its gotta be less heartache than the GTR.

Brent.

the cruise and idle areas of the tune are where the killer fuel consumption comes from on any ecu

especially city driving.

You need to ask your tuner to get a handle on the cruise zones of your map.

Most tuners will gloss over those areas and concentrate on the high load areas to get your car to make power and make it safely.....as that's all most people want, POWAAAH!

Cruise tuning will take extra dyno time and cost you more but in the long run it will save you bulk at the bowser..... Not to mention you will have a less doughy & more responsive engine off boost/ coming on boost

I get 450 - 480 km around the city and have done 550 to the fuel light on the highway with a Power Fc and 1.7 bar.... An no I don't baby my car.

I tuned my cruise map point AFR's to between 14.9-15.8.
