It seems like each car behave differently, like different oil as well. From what I under stand. Once oil level is low, oil control ring got excessive wear, and u will get more oil consumption forever. Plus blow by make things worse.

Oil level has nothing to do with ring wear (as such), the underside of the piston is sprayed with oil from the conrod bigend journal relief's - the only time you would experience a lack of bore/ring lubrication would be if you had ZERO oil pressure........And then bore/ring oiling would be the least of your issues.
