Yep you need to run games off a disc

this is the gecko

http://www.ozmodchips.com/usb-gecko-...mes-p-103.html

but it needs to be connected to a computer
a hdd alone will not work

yep thats why ive just gone with the Drivekey only
its also easy for the kids to operate
You need a particular model LG DVD ROM (reader) to read a Wii disk
but once you have ripped an iso image
any burner can write your new disk
Ive just been downloading games as compressed iso images via torrents
then un rar them and burn the new disc

Id just download bitcomet, and that usually gives you a huge list of torrent sites.
